Help Hungry Kids Rules & Regulations
September 1st 2009 to April 1st
2010
1.Plan a collection
of canned goods and money involving your school and
community.
2.Create
advertisements to promote the food and money drive and inform your school and
community as to why they are donating and where proceeds will be
going.
3.Involve other
organizations within your school to help your Student Council with the
project.
4.If another school
group other then Student Council organizes Help Hungry Kids at your school, you
can still send in the Help Hungry Kids Tabulation Sheet and mail it to the
address below.
5.When you have
reached the end of the canned food and money collection (on or before April
1st 2010), calculate the amount of canned goods and money donated and
fill out the Help Hungry Kids Tabulation Sheet and mail it to the address
below. The tabulation sheets will
be used to calculate the results and the winning school will be announced at the
NHASC Spring Convention on May 14th 2010. Tabulation sheets must be received by
April 7th 2010 or they will not be counted. Please mail all
tabulation sheets to the address below.
6.Please donate all
money and canned goods to your selected local food
pantry.
7.Look at this as a
challenge: Use creative and fun techniques to get your school and community
involved! For example: Compete
between classes to see which class can raise the most and have a prize for the
winning class.
Good luck to your Student Council, school and
community!
Remember to be creative and most importantly have
fun!
